Chrome not restoring to max

from Stardock Forums

When ever I minimize, then restore Chrome it only restores to "normal" and not maximum.

I changed the option to run the program maximized but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Version 1 or 2?

What version of Windows?

Is Chrome the only program that this happens with?

Has it always been this way, or did it start out working then stop one day?

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

After testing a few other windowed programs, it seems to be all of them.

Ever since I started using it.

 

Just to add more info. If I close Chrome and reopen it, it does start in Max. So it seems that this only happens when minimizing then restoring.

Try it with notepad.  It may be program specific.

I have also noticed that when I minimize using the - in the top right I have to double click the program's icon on the dock in order for it to come back.

Not sure if this is anywhere near related.

I take it no one else has or is having this issue?
