Mine would be probably the new, brownish one. And i am glad they got rid of the old, light blue one, with the yellowish stripe on the horizon, did not feel like space at all.
It was the purple/pink one before even if i hate pink because it made the ships more beautifful and the light was the best. For now i don't know but not this one because they didn't update this skybox.
I HATE the green one. Makes all ships look hideous, I like the new purple one.
I turn them off completely. they are all to bright. I feel like I'm in a planets atmosphere when battling. doesn't feel like space at all with the sky boxes on. I do like the ones that are smaller nebula looking ones that are in the far reaches of space. that to me gives the game a much better feel.
Yeah, i do not like it too. Out of the current "roster". its IMHO the worst one. I used to quite like the old Entrenchment purple one, but the new purple, new blueish with galaxy and the brown one put it to shame.
BTW i always played with colored skyboxes on, as the ships used to be very, very dark on the non-colored skybox. Now, with the new lightning and shadowing, this is no more an issue.

However I don't like the others. Or sometimes I turn it off.
Actually, if you own a Mac with the latest version of OSX, you get the Andromeda galaxy picture, and it is completely plausible for a blue sky and a white band across the horizon of the galaxy.
And here all along I thought I was the only one you thought purple was the best and green was the worst....
That was the hidden point of this thread, to find the truth about yourself
