Save Games not displaying in game

Hi,

Happily playing Sins Rebellion last night. Noticed the autosaves - thought that's good. At the end of my gaming I did a manual save.

Today I go to load the save games - any of them. All blank. It's as though I never saved the game at all. Looking for the save games I find them in C:\Users\<profilename>\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Save-SinglePlayer

same with the auto ones

C:\Users\<profilename>\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\AutoSave-SinglePlayer

But they aren't displaying in the game.

Is the game pointing to a different folder set???

Appreciate any advice.

Regards

Lee

I just encountered the same thing.  Not very funny if it's an April fool.  But I don't think it is.  It's still the same version of the beta build, so I can't imagine why it suddenly stopped displaying the saves in game.

Bloody annoying, I was very close to getting my first Titan too (not had the game more than 48 hrs yet).

I hope this gets resolved, or at least explained!

I think you saved the games on version 0.75 (the one with the Advent), and now they made a rollback to version 0.62 (the one with just the TEC factions), which saved the games in a different directory.

See this post, to check what are the folders used by the different versions (these folders are for Windows 7, in other OS' they should be very similar):

Still, I don't think you are going to be able to use the saved games, at least not, until they reactivate version 0.75 again, but who knows, maybe they will.

Hope this helps!

That is exactly what's wrong thanks.  Sure enough if I move the save from the .75 location to the .62 it is available in game.  Sadly it isn't compatible and causes the game to crash on loading.  I can only hope that saves are compatible if older and can recover this if they release .75 or greater again.

Ba timing for me though. I installed on .62, didn't notice that it had updated briefly (though do recall that on one occasion the game took forever to load :-)) before going back down.

Oh well, I'm already on the way to my titan again!
