Advent Loyalist Titan Sound Issue

Does anyone else feel or think that when their main Beam weapon is about to fire it makes a high pitch screeching sound?  I have a Logitech 930 Headset with 7.1 and that thing sounds terrible when its about to fire.  Anyway, I think that the sound of this weapon needs to be looked at.

I belive I got this right, its the Titan with the big circle on top of it.  I dont usually paly the Advent so Im not sure of this ships name.

I'm not sure I'd call it terrible, but can't say I'm particularly fond of the sound you're referring to either, definitely a bit too far into the high pitched screeching side of the spectrum.

I don't believe this sound matches the function. When the Coronata is using the Unity Mass it looks like a Vasari Pulse Beam crossed with a Advent Energy Beam and makes the sound of ship stalling out mixed with a plane landing on a runway. Also it doesn't sync correctly. The noise is made well before the actually animation of the beam is fired.

This sound of the weapon or whatever its doing is either broken or messed up.  call it what you will but it sounds terrible and has a really high pitched screeching noise to it.  Yarlen, you guys need to look at this please.

Generally put, they need to fix a lot of the titan ability sounds because, at least for me a lot result in bleeding ears. Scattershot of the TEC Rebel and Unity Mass of the Loyalist Advent both are pretty painful. Most other titan abilities are loud but not painful loud.

The sound of this effect seems strongly dependant on the quality of the speakers.

Through the internal speakers of my laptop it would be terrible - the original opening sound of the Ironclad/Stardock logo was highly distorted.

However, through my half-decent (20-year old) hi-fi Unity Mass actually sounds very effective, although I'll admit it is rather loud.

This loud volume, coupled with its high pitch, would also make this unpleasant to listen to using 'phones too, even decent ones - it's a sound that needs a bit of space to fill.

So I would suggest that the volume of this effect should be reduced before altering its pitch.

The main problem I have with Unity Mass is visual, not audio, as not all of the particle effects show correctly.

Sometimes the two side beams do not show, sometimes the main beam isn't visible.
