Rebellion

So basically my question is this: why are you requiring the steam client to play the game now? If you are fully switching over to steam why don't you give steam codes for trinity to people who owned Sins through Impulse back before it was turned into Gamestop and was completely ruined. I own Sins of a Solar Empire and Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity on Impulse (I refuse to call it Gamestop) and if the new expansion is going to be steam only I want to switch my copies to Steam. I'm starting to feel like you guys abandoned your old customers...

Rebellion only requires Steam because it uses Steamworks. It doesn't require any other previous versions of Sins, though, and those (if you do have them) will still work just fine regardless where you got them.

If you have Trinity, you can download that straight from the Stardock store website, you don't need to use Impulse any more if you're disinclined to do so.
