A very simple way to improve culture a bit

Culture still is a bit underwhelming.  A very simple change, which really "fits" what culture already does would be to make hostile culture prevent colony frigates from capturing neutral extractors in asteroid belts and whatnot in the same fashion it prevents colonization.

It would be a method short of permanently committing forces or building a starbase to reliably hold neutral extractors(at the very least preventing vasari scouts from grabbing ones behind your front lines).

Culture is already very powerful when dealing in combat.  The Advent in their own culture become nigh unkillable for instance.

Aye, this is true.  I guess I was more hoping for some additional general relevance of culture rather then culture's primary relevance being "are you playing advent or do you have an advent opponent".

That said, Advent Culture combat benefits have only been expanded by +20% phase missile block & +5% damage for advent loyals since trinity.  Culture's effect on the advent fleets survivability hasn't changed all that much(with the exception of for vasari LRF or bomber spam fleets) & people largely referred to culture as a mechanic that needed buffing in trinity.   Not much in general has changed  so I was under the impression culture in general could still use a small facelift.

I think culture has been buffed enough in Rebellion. Some factions really reap the benefits when they fight within their own culture, even more than back in Trinity.

Okie doke, guess the proverbial winds aren't blowing the right way.  Just had an idea and thought I may as well put it down.
