Today was a sins of a solar empire day. I didnt mean to do anything today, except to play the new rebellion beta, or so i thought. Listen, I know it's just a beta but i've had 5/6 games crash on me today. Mind you that the one that did not crash was a very very short one. 

 

Dont worry, i sent Ironclad my crash logs, but for the love of god; fix the crashes...... and the corvettes.

 

Update: 6/7 games  crashed.

is it a minidump? or a crash?

is there any sort of pattern you are noticing?

Crash. Havent noticed any patterns, seems very random. I happen to know that pretty much everyone ive played with get these random crashes all the time aswell. Havent played a single game (30+ games) without someone crashing/minidump/whatever.

Can your system (and everyone else's) handle the graphics?  Have you tried lowering effects to low?  Do your systems meet the minimum game requirement?  Are these all LAN games?  Have you tried online?  Have you tried single player to see if that crashes too?  It sound like more of a problem with someone's computer rather than the game itself.

I rarely crash.  And I think that is true for most people.  Altho I have heard of more problems with LAN than others.

Feedback from my perspective.

 

Prior to last patch: SP games had no problem, MP had minidumps about 50% of the time.

After last patch: SP have no problems, have only had 1 minidump when playing MP.

 

Conclusion for my system and experience: much improved after last patch.

Update: 3/3 crashes since the .80 patch. Managed to play about 2 hours the first game, 1 hour the second, and about 20 min in the third one.

 

These are all internet games. And yes; my computer can handle this game pretty easily. I've never gotten any hardware lag at all. I've tried putting everything on the lowest settings aswell as highest settings. Both are smooth as a babys butt but it still crashes.
