FRUSTRATION !!!!

I know the beta is still a work in progress.

I purchased it & downloaded a few days ago. I have been playing since Sins first came out.

I am playing on a 2 month old Alienware M17XR3 with dual graphics cards, pretty much maxed out.

My gripe is that STEAM is the problem !!!! Steam launches ads for other game purchases and completely knocks out the game in session. Launching the game also launches Steam. I also can't seem to find the executable in order to assign which graphics card to use to run the game. I want to use my high end 2.5 GB NVIDIA 580M card instead of the system/motherboard card. 

Any thoughts or ideas???

You should be able to use the preferences in Steam to fix the ad issues.

As for the video cards, Sins should use the best available. It always has with me. If push comes to shove, go into BIOS and shut down the motherboard video card.

Thanks for the heads up with the steam issue. I haven't used it that much, and was unaware of the settings. I made  the changes, and will try again. It seemed that at least an hour into every game it was knocked out, and I had to re-launch. My 3 other Sins games launch without any 3rd party software.
