Sound Issue (Very inconvienent)

Ok, first time posting anything here. Let me start by saying, I've had this game for over a year and I absoluetly love this game.

However, my problem: Recently while booting the game up there is absoluetly no sound, none what so ever. No menu music, no in game music (Sound effects, alerts, nothing.). I don't know about any of you guys, but playing this game with no sound is almost impossible. I've checked everything. In the audio options everything is set up all the way. My speakers are on for my computer. I have no idea how to fix it!

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Checked the sound drivers everything seems to be working. The sound issue is just for Sins, I have sound for everything else. If my sound drivers had an issue that would effect my whole computer's audio right?

Not always. Sometimes the game will call for certain things in the drivers and if they are not up to date, the game will not make sound.

After the drivers I have no idea aside from trying to redownloading the game.

Go into options, sound settings. Are the sliders all the way to the left? If so, press reset.

I wish it were that easy, but like I said in an earlier post, everything in my audio options (Effects, music, UI voice, etc) are set up all the way.

I forgot to mention though, the opening movie/ intro has sound. Don't know if that helps...

Double posting...

But also, it was mentioned to re-download the game. I have the cd copy, and i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times. I really don't know what to do.
