Game Updates

Hi everyone. I bought Dread Lords from Ebay a while ago. Not the special edition or anything. Anyways, I'm trying to get updates for it now, but it appears the site won't let me since I didn't buy it from gamestop, steam, or the stardock store. I typed in the correct serial number and everything but it's no use. Is there another way for me to get the updates? Thanks.

Also, I know that first pinned post that talks about ebay versions being bootlegged, but this appears to be a legitimate version. It came inside the actual GCII Box, not just the CD case.

I had some problems soon after Impulse's swap from Stardock to Gamestop.  I couldn't even get GC2 to start.  

I found a rep at the Impulse Forums who goes by "BMonkey" to be very helpful in resolving problems with updating and such.

If you purchased a new and legitimate retail copy and you are only registering it now, you'll want to contact [email protected]. GameStop no longer supports new registrations of copies not purchased from them.

Well, it's actually used even though it's a legitimate copy. Thanks guys, but I think I'm just gonna buy the ultimate edition directly from Stardock. I only wasted like $5 from the ebay copy anyways. Plus this way I'll get the expansions. And registering should be way easier now.
