IE9: favorites right click crashes IE9 / Windows 7 (32-bit): shortcuts rename crashes windows explorer

Hi to all,

 

I recently discovered 2 problems which are connected with the installation of fences in my computer:

1. Problem in IE9 when right clicking a favorite. It crashes IE9 w/o any specific error.

2. Renaming a shortcut in Windows 7. Crashes windows explorer.

 

Both were solved by uninstalling fences!!! I am using the free version of fences. What puzzles me though, is the fact that I am using fences at least 2 years now (back when I had XP in my computer) and never noticed such a problem.

 

Anyhow, are you aware of this problem and is there any solution?

dmanou99 I'm running IE9 and Fences Pro on a computer that has Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and not seeing the problems you describe.  I wouldn't think that kind of bug would be in the free version of Fences.  Are you running any other software that might be causing the problem?

As I wrote, my problems were solved as soon as I unistalled fences. I didn't "touch" anything else in my computer.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit with the free version of fences. I was also amazed with my finding, but this is what solved my problem.
