I bought rebellion and for some reason when i start it it brings up an error box with the message "failed to initialize steam" i tried re-installing,logging,starting and nothing works. I had steam on all the time and even launched it from the games tab. I searched everywhere for a solution but i found nothing.
any solution?

i have the same problem! i just bought it via steam a few hours ago downloaded / installed it etc. but when i click on play error box shows up saying "failed to initialize steam"

Perhaps your internet connection may be affecting this. I've had this happen to me several times on games I play through Steam and my dodgy internet connection is usually to blame.
The other possibility could be your computer's security programs preventing the program from starting. Try enabling Rebellion and/or Steam through your security program and it should work.
But if neither of these work then best of luck at finding a solution
