game will not even load for me

I have installed rebellion and when i try to run the game from steam or from me desktop shortcut it tries to load the game but doesn't. If i bring up me friends list i can see that it tries to load the game but then stops I'm not a tech wiz i just play the damn games. I have tried to verify the download there is nothing wrong, i have reinstalled the game and steam it has not worked i have even tried deleting any trace of the file codes existence from me system (regedit etc). Any help is appreciated thx mates. Oh and i have tried installing with antivirus off and firewall etc.

If you're getting a blank screen and have an nVidia video card, update your drivers to the latest version. Otherwise please contact [email protected].

Thanks mate for the reply but i may not have explained the situation properly, i have downloaded the game through steam but you know how other games are installing dx and other stuff before it runs the game, that is not even loading just nothing. However i will contact support but i have a feeling there gonna say reinstall windows so i aint even gonna bother till i need to looked like a good game but ill never know :).
