AI settings on huge map?

Hello,

On random-Huge, 10 hard AI with random ai settings, I am finding it a bit boring.

The game is brilliant, but there is something im missing with the settings to get the best out of my games. 4 empires got taken out very early (had capital planet victory condition on, which I think had something to do with it) and I allied with a turtle, which is bad since I wanted us to go forth and conquer.

What settings do people have for the AI to get a really good fun game? Is their a default setting? I would have 2 or 3 set to aggressive and the rest to some form of default but I dont want other AI to die so easily.
