Is Rebellion Compatible with Windows XP ?

Just checked the Minimum requirements for this game and does not mention Windows XP SP3

Does this mean the game will not run on it.

Sorry for the silly question however really want to know before I head to the Game shop to buy and be disappointed when it doesnt work.

Cheers.

it DOEs run on xp sp3, but starclad did that to try to get the users to upgrade to the longer term support of vSHITa and windows 7 as the xp support is scheduled to finish in the next year or so.

It will run but it's not supported on XP.

Runs no problems on XP. I'm working through some mini-dump issues on late stage larger games but from what I can tell this happens to everyone.

I'm running mine on Windows XP SP3 32 bit. It runs (almost) flawlessly for me and no mini-dumps currently.

Running fine on XP SP 3 here. The game rarely minidumps for me. Although only the devs would know if that has something to do with the Windows version or is just plain luck.

i just bought the rebellion disk, ive installed steam but the only way to get it is by downloading it, im using my galaxy s2 with stuff all gb to hotspot my net, if this is how its supposed to work then whats the point in buying a disk at all. and will it operate with my digital trinity download, using xp pro too btw.

asguard13, trinity and rebellion are seperate (but related) games that install in different locations and use different locations for the maps/mods/setting and other user data.

and from aht Iremember from the last install of rebellion, it is approx 2gb of data used to download & install

Now, now.... we dont want to exagerate... the requirements arent that high.

but to avoid lag you need FAST ram and a FAST(high ghz) core speed in your cpu.

the lag shows up in longer games and larger maps.
