Black screen on boot

I know there is a post about the black screen, but that is an old post and i have the latest drivers 306.23 so updating them isn't possible. I'd like to know if there is a fix for this a it's been months since a reply was made to that other post.

I have a ASUS G75VW laptop which is 3 months old, so my machine is well over the rec spec s for this games.

I'm having this problem with the SINS rebellion game.

Try downloading the drivers directly from the website of the company that produces your video card. Sometimes the drivers that are downloaded from the fancy autodownloaders can mess up the drivers.

I did download them straight from Nvidia.com, I Nvidia doesn't have an auto update patching system fro their drivers.

Can you check in your Nvidia driver's control panel and make sure that Sins: Rebellion is set to exclusively use the Nvidia graphics chipset?  If it is, I'd recommend (just to be safe) reinstalling the drivers using the Clean Install option. If you still have the same trouble, please contact [email protected].

I did a clean install to beigin with when I got the laptop, also my laptop only has 1 GPU, it don't have a Intel HD card, so setting make sins use only the Nvidia GPU isn't possible as that's the only card in my laptop and s already using it.

Also The only way making SINS use the Nvidia card in Control panel is through 3d application as far as i can tell, even then I can't see any option to USE exclusivly the NVidia card.

Also I did do a clean reinstall 2 days ago with updateed drivers before i Installed Sinsthrough steam.
