The VP debate and civility

I watched the VP debate last night while hanging out on Twitter.  I was astounded at the reaction by Obama supporters towards Biden’s behavior.  Not only did they condone Biden’s open disrespect and contempt of Ryan’s positions but they applauded it.

No wonder things aren’t getting done in Washington. How do you work with people who will, literally, laugh in your face, when discussing issues of national importance that you don’t agree on?

It played to the base.  But I think he turned off the swing votes.  However, most are not going to base their decision on the Veep debate.

Obama supporters are made up of unreasonable people who think they should have rights at the expense of the right.  The right is made up of reasonable people who believe that the rights we have should extend to all people.  So it doesn't surprise me when people who are for that pair act like it.

Actually, some Obama supporters are just anti-Christian or pro-Liberation Theology.  I suppose that pretty much makes them unreasonable though.
