System Locks

I have Windows 7 Ultimate and Fences 2.0. When I try to move to secondary "Fences" window my system seems to lockup. In addition, when I try to edit desktop "shortcuts" my system locks up. This didn't happen until I installed Fences 2.o. Previously I had Fences 1.0 (Free) and didn't experience any issues. No other applications have been installed.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
