Help with Metaverse submission please!
from
Stardock Forums
I've been playing both at work and at home. A while ago i submitted my first game at home, and it worked fine.
Today during lunch i finished my first game at work. The movie played, the scores came up, i looked through them, hit done, and the game exited to the desktop. No questions about submitting to the Metaverse or anything.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Looking through the threads already posted on this subject, my first guess would be firewall/proxy problems. Therefore, unless i hear a better idea from someone else, i'm going to ftp my saved game home, and hope i can submit it there.
Only problem, my copy at home is at 1.2, while my copy at work is at 1.1a (was planning to upgrade as soon as i finished this game)
If i uninstall 1.2 and reinstall the game, is there any way to get 1.1a through Stardock?
If not, i've got the standalone 1.1 patch. However will submitting a game played in 1.1a with a game running 1.1 cause any problems with the metaverse submission?
Thanks
