2 Bugs found (still in Beta 1.09)

Hey guys,

i ve purchased Start8 and i m using Windows 8 Pro German Version.

For me, there are two Bugs.

1. I have set "8" for "Allocate room for at least xy large icons". And it always shows a minimum number of 12. Only if you set more than 12, it shows the correct number you have set.

2. I have two horizontal lines, one between "Network" and "Control Panel" and the other between "Downloads" and "Games".

When i move my mouse over "Network" or "Control Panel", the horizontal line disappear.

1) The space is a minimum number, it looks like you have more items on the right hand list so space is allocated for those.

2) 1.02 and up should not have issues with those lines.  Could you confirm if you have 1.03 by dragging one of the right hand list items off onto the desktop.  You should get a new shortcut on your desktop.  If you do not get this then the 1.03 files are not in use.

2. i can confirm it (i get a new shortcut on my desktop). so problem is still there

I think both may be linked to your 125% dpi mode setting.  I will make sure that gets checked for the next update and hopefully fixed if it can be reproduced.

to 1: reducing dpi to 100% did not solve the problem

to 2: reducing dpi to 100% did solve the problem

but i prefer 125% dpi while using a laptop with FullHD and Windows 8

Sorry they didn't make it for 1.1 beta, but I will make doubly sure they are looked at for the 1.1 release build.  Sorry about that.
