[BUG] World Size and Map Type not available

I hope I didn't miss a patch note stating these have been turned off for now. If so, egg on my face.

When trying to start a new game, the World Size and Map Type are grayed out and unselectable.

When you have a pre-made map selected to play, those options are greyed out. If you select random map, you get to pick those options. Press the button with two arrows next to the "load" button to have the game generate a random map, and "unlock" those options.

Can i extract a map from saved game ;(random generated map)?
