Start8 won't start

Hi.

I've downloaded the trial of Start8 and installed it. After that the config-pop-up showed up and I selected the first entry (test for 30 days)

"starting trial"... - but after some moments I could read "Try start8" again. I can't start the program; When I close the config-window nothing happens at all. I can't see any startmenu and if I switch back to the tile-desktop (Win8 Pro 64 Bit) I can find a tile called "start8" but clicking on it brings up the config-screen for ever and ever. I've tried to uninstall and to re-install, several re-boots... no changes.

How can I start the program?

Is it for Win8 32-Bit only?

Could you see if there are any files named start8 in the c:\programdata\stardock\registrations directory please.
