[BUG REPORT]Shortcuts containing more than one dot symbol

Hello,

I've found this bug in 1.01 and I'm not sure if it isn't already fixed but thought I should report it either way.

If you install an app that has a shortcut that contains extra dots "." in the name besides the one in the ".lnk" then the name of the shortcut will be split by the first occurrence of the dot symbol instead of just eliminating the file extension. No problem with the folders (there's nothing to split), but I think you should change the way you remove the extension of a file's shortcut to use it as label text in the menus.

Example:

FOLDER: "Armchair 2.3 Pro"

FILES IN FOLDER: "Armchair 2.3 Pro.lnk" -> will be displayed as "Armchair 2" instead of "Armchair 2.3 Pro"

Hope it helps. Windows 8 really needs it's start menu back and Start8 is the greatest replacement;)

Cheers!
