I noticed that Start8 renames the Start Menu folder "Accessories" to "Windows Accessories". Is there someway to change this behavior (so the folder shows up as "Accessories" in the Start8 Start Menu)? I know the actual folder is called "Accessories" still, and that's what I'm used to seeing.
Windows accessories is the new name defined by Windows 8 for that folder. If you right click on the folder and pick properties you will see thats the name that shows. Likewise if you navigate the startmenu folders from explorer you will see Windows accessories, but from a command prompt you will see accessories.
While the folder is technically called Accessories on the drive, the name is overridden by the OS language definitions. Like explorer, Start8 supports those in order to name the folders correctly under non english installs.
We can look into adding an option to prevent Start8 from loading up language definitions, but you will find that tools like the Windows defrag will show as a strange filename vs the defrag as Microsoft are using the language system to correct the name in english too.
