Well, basicially I would just like to say thanks to Ironclad Games for the continuation of the Sin's series. Rebellion is one of the most awesome games I have played in a long time. Even if you don't read it, I still wanted to show my appriciation.
I love the fact that the game runs so smooth, is so easy to manage and still fun to play, even if some of the space battles often lacks a bit of strategy to them.
I got bored with the original sins after playing it for 20 hours or so, but the continuation of additions really spice things up.
I hope you guys will add some more planet tech at some point though, like missile batteries, planet shielding (I know you can research and build it in orbit - but think starwars) etc. so you can customize planets even more.
Also, consider giving some of the cap ships an ability to fleet jump in at a specific point in the neightbouring sector- this would open up for "sniping" certain buildings... would be fun. I hope it makes sense
(the idear is from the Star Wars - Thrawn Triology - where stardestroyers hyperspace jumps very close to some defense platforms and takes em out, and then jumps away).
Could be prevented by the jump inhibitors.
