Problem: Cursorfx Control Panel.exe crashes after launching

Greetings!

I've installed on a win7 64 the latest free version of cursorfx and everything was working, then i bought full version, uninstalled the free and reinstalled the paided version in same directory...

Now i cannot start Cursorfx Control Panel.exe, it crashes without even appearing and a microsoft APPCRASH error event is created (microsoft asks for some log files to find the solution to the problem, if you need i ll post a link for download). I've tried with reboot, administrator and vista sp2 compatibility mode as i read in previous posts but nothing changes...

Every other thing works (i can load another cursor with doubleclick on a cursorFX pak, theme editor and cursorfx.exe) just the control panel doesn't want to start or show in any occasion... It installs in some strange way that is broken in my environment? registry?some other directory to delete other the main in programs?...

Even installing and reinstalling isn't working... Itried another directory too without success...

It's possible to get a link in mail or account for the previous version? (it shouldn't use Cursorfx Control Panel.exe?) I need it up&running in some days for an interactive kiosk inauguration on tuesday :D

Thanks for attention!

PS: There is a config file where i can manually set the Size and effects on cursor on a registered CursorFXplus? So probably i can set up everything even if Cursorfx Control Panel.exe crashes....

Go to the CFX program files, right click on Control Panel.exe, select Properties. Set it to run in Compatibility Mode for Vista SP2.

The real problem was a cursor pak of 65mb in the themes folder :)... It was my first try for a modded cursor with a long animation :D... Any best settings for doing  a 10 sec animation? Im rendering it from after effects with rgb+alpha/milion colors+, mounting with aniutils... Wich max resolution should i use? 320x320? I would like a good detail becaus i'll use max cursor size.. Wizard, holder of many clues, do you have any to spare about this? (some extra than basic info in instructions) Thx in advance :)

PS: when i m assembling the .png with aniutils.exe i get an animation like the original but is sliding from left to right. how can i import an animation without this extra sliding???  ANSWER: set the same number of frames in png strip.
