How to get rid of "Public Documents" from right hand side of start menu?

Hi there,

I've installed Start8, and I have Documents set to "Show as menu".

But, I don't want to have to choose between "My Documents" and "Public Documents" every time. That is, I don't want to have to go "Start -> Documents -> My Documents -> <SomeFile>". I want to go "Start -> Documents -> <SomeFile>".

I *never* want to select "Public Documents". Therefore is it possible to have "Documents" always point to "My Documents"? Same for "Pictures".

The "Downloads" start menu link always goes straight to my downloads. I'd like Documents to work the same way.

We have something to handle that in an upcoming build.

For now it works exactly how Windows 7 did which is to show the documents library which consists of both your documents and shared documents.

Good to know - I'm finding Start8 to be really good except for that minor annoyance. I never used Windows 7 so I never saw that start menu before.

The 1.1 beta which can be downloaded here : https://forums.stardock.com/437628 now offers custom places list locations so you can make one which points to just your documents folder.
