Ironclad online and steam friends

ok, so my friends list from trinity didnt carry over to rebellion for some reason, and when i try to add my buddy in ironclad online, it just brings up his steam page with the steam-in-game-overlay. He's already my friend in steam, so how do i add him?

Friend in Rebellion = Friend on Steam.

There is no longer an ICQ friend list for rebellion, it is all done over steam which can be both a curse and a blessing.

thnx ARES! yeah, he just magically appeared online in the middle of game, a now he's in my list.......we didnt DO anything.......
