Enable to create folders portal

As a new customer in Fences, I have been attracted by the fences' new feature folder portal a lot. However, this thing just never work on my computer. Everytime I created a folder portal, I received the error messgage claiming that the folder portal wouldn't work in classic model and I need to enable Aero. I have no idea how to activate this Aero feature, would anybody please tell me how can I solve this problem?

Right click Computer, choose "manage".

On the left, choose "Services and Applications".

 

Then, choose "services".

 

Scroll down to "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager". (Make sure it's set to automatic.) Right click it and choose restart.

 

Aero is now enabled and running.

 

NOTE:

 

If you are using Vista Basic, or Windows 7 Basic, or Windows 8, you won't have aero.

Thank you for your reply RedNeckDude, I have been using the windows 7 basic previously and I updated it then everything works fine now! One thumb up for the folders portal feature, it's amazing!

I like it. Fences is a good program.
