Cannot Register

Hi,

I have opened a Support Ticket with Stardock on 25 December 2012 06:31 PM and tried again on 09 January 2013 09:33 AM. I am still waiting for an answer...

As a last resort I hope someone here knows a solution to my Problem before I try to get a refund from Steam.

I bought Sins of a Solar Empire - Rebellion in Steam. When I start the game the Stardock Account Registration Windows appears, entering my Account details or trying to create a new Account results in the following error:

The connection with the server has been reset or terminated, or an incompatible SSL protocol was encountered. For example, WinHTTP version 5.1 does not support SSL2 unless the client specifically enables it.

So I cannot even start the Game.

Perhaps your firewall is blocking the game?

What is your ticket number? Please be aware that support had a backlog due to the holidays, and sending additional mails before getting a response resets your position in queue.

I don't have a software firewall only a NAT device as a gateway.
