do tec loyalist get bonuses in uncolonizable gravity wells if they place extractors

The tec loyalists get good bonuses in their own gravity wells do they still get them if they are in an uncolonizable gravity well e.g. asteroid belt if they have extractors placed?

No, because you have to own the planet....and you can't own a gas giant....

the research description states you have to own that gravity well, and you will never have a colony in uncolonizable wells, thus that will never be their territory even if you have your full fleet there, TEC Loyalist bonuses are meant to be helping your defenses at YOUR PLANETS, and those are not even planets (gas giant is strange but game logic states it is not a colonizeable planet)

And it is easy to try out, just look at the armor number, it will decrease in the moment you leave your gravity well, and will not increase when you arrive at a neutral gravity well.
