Mini-dumps

Can I do anythng to reduce them

This is my RIG:

Windows Vista

dual core AMD Athlon 2.7 Ghz (OC)

Nvidia 9800 GTX+

4GB Ram.

It seems play long enough and one ends up 'mini-dumping', and if not someone else does; this is frustrating and also ruins team games. Today I mini-dumped on both the 5v5 games I played (after about an hour). Yesterday I played one 5s game which again resulted in me mini-dumping.

Since I purchased the game for xmas I've had more MDs than I can count on all my fingers and toes (and I have all my digits intact). I've set the graphics lower and completely turned of the shadows in the last few days but still the frequency of MDs remain the same (if anything probably increased in the last few days), albeit maybe I am just having a bad run of MDs as sometimes I can go without for a day or two.

Anyways is there a solution to this problem!? Is there anything that one can do to minimise MDs!? This is very frustrating :(

/PLEASE help...rant over.

The only time you are guaranteed to minidump is if Sins uses more than 2GB of ram. If you see in task manager Sins is using close to that then you need to lower your graphics a notch. The devs say a lot of the minidumps they get (send them to support if you can) also deal with out of date graphics drivers, so double check those as well.

It seems a newer driver for my GPU was released just last month- so I've installed it and see how it goes. I've also read SINs can only utilise 2gb of ram (if true that's a real shame). I decreased my graphics from highest to high and turned shadows off. I guess the next step is to go medium (though I don't really want to do this if i can avoid it).  Anything else that hogs a lot of RAM/I should be turning down in the video/graphics section?

Looks great, albeit I play Sins for multiplayer on ICO. If I use this mod will I still be able to play MP without having "incorrect version/version does not match" issues?

I only used the trinity version. Typically, if it just changes textures or sounds there is no problem in MP, only files that effect game-play. Best to ask in that thread to be sure or just ask someone in the lobby to test, it should state a mismstch as soon as you join if there is a problem.

Turn your settings down for MP, people tend to get a little pissy with people that Minidump
