Games Require Steam? Its not letting me...

If this post is in the wrong forum topic, Sorry.

I have GalCIv2 and E:WOM/ E:FE, Just Recently these games state that they "require" some sort of activation thru steam.

Wheres it at?

I have Steam, Happy with it, and i would like nothing more than to have these titles available to me thru my steam account, But I Can't...

I try to activate my codes thru steam. Nothing.

I Uninstall these games. Reinstall them thru Impulse(Gamestop) or thru stardock. Nothing, they install Fine, They update OK, they register, play etc...

But No Steam activation or verifaction.

I want these games on steam, without buying them again, These games say that they require steam to install...

Is my account "Grandfathered" over to be "Steam DRM Free"? Is there a way to activate these games on steam? (Without buying again.)

WOM is not available through Steam and if you bought the other games before they were Steam-ified you will need to get them
