Old school rpg gamers check this out

I recently found out about this game which is being made that looks like it is going to be a surprisingly good old school rpg. It's called Chaos Chronicles. It seems like it will be modeled after lots of good games like Pool of Radiance and Ultima.

Trying to help spread the word cause this may be a diamond in the rough.

Isometric RPG with tactical hex-based combat? Yes please!

After spending 5 minutes watching the videos and reading through the webpage, I couldn't find any substantial details on the game though (is it open ended, leveling/characters, quests, dialogue, etc.).

Looks great, just need a little more info.

Oh my!  Thank you for pointing this game out.  It is made by the developer of Jagged Alliance: Back in Action.  An underrated game IMHO.

I know its going to have quests and dialogue- the leveling of characters not sure how thats going to work but i can guess its going to be maybe something like D@D style leveling- they mentioned lots of times that they like the D@D system.

Agreed on all points, save that I'd like a lot more info. Such as what level of interactions your party will have amongst themselves, with you, and the world. Whether it's a go-anywhere kind of game, and how many quests you'll receive, at once. Level of skill-checking that tailors how the world reacts to you. Whether things happen without your involvement, or only with. Item making? Spell crafting? Professions? Races?

But it certainly does look like they're aiming it directly at many of us who enjoyed the likes of BG II, etc. Which is all to the good, if they follow through.
