Is it possible to achieve something like this with skin studio ?

As you see only top frame exists and blur is removed from left, right and bottom frame.

Easy, peasy.

Make the sides and bottom frames a single dark pixel with the outer glow/drop shadow.

Don't know, skinstudio seems messy. Im totally new with it.

I've only played with visual styles and it seems that im forced to use stardock products if i want to achieve something like that.

How about that explorer search bar?

Next question concerns about jumplist. Is it possible to use individual frames on it, since it uses explorer frames as default.

A is what i want and B is what i possibly get.
