Some Apps don't skin

So I have a question:

is there a posibility for thunderbird, skype, media player classic and miranda IM to set it uses default aero theme?

I installed wb's and everything skins normally but those apps except thunderbird (which has skinning issues by itself) have default classic windows style of currently applied skin.

When there is no skin applied they function normally with aero skinng, but there seems to be no possibility to set aero skin only for those 4-5 apps since they don't skin as they should and they look awefull. This is absurd since wb's have the posibility to set different skins per app but no possibility to use default aero on those apps?

So am I stuck with nice skins for regular windows but ugly app appereances which I use almost 90% of the time? If so, I regret buying this product.

Also this is strange behaviour of skype, when I install a new version the skinning applies normally, but after quiting and starting application for a second time it reverts back to classic. This is a sign that  skininig of this app is possible but there is obviously a glitch somewhere.

I don't know about Skype or Media Player Classic, but Miranda (latest version) and Thunderbird v16.0.2 skin fine with Windowblinds. However, anything above Thunderbird v16.0.2 does have issues. When you exclude an application in Windowblinds, a lot of applications do indeed use the classic look and unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Hopefully someone from Stardock technical support will see this and assist you.

Same here.

You could have a corrupted WB install. Copy and paste your WB about info here and someone who knows could tell you if there is something off on the numbers.

I should have the latest build and your info should look something like this:

Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5.6
Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 5.6

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.42 (325 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

I was playing a bit with settings:
so far:

default thunderbird skin shows no titlebar skin or background behind menus so there is no buttons to _ - X, when I go to skins and select alternate (silvermall skin) and restart it the skining is ok. After closeing and reopening the issue is back but with double restart from skin window inside the thunderbird (first default than back to silvermall skin) it works until I close the app.

I switched off miranda skins (inside it) and putted all in default but there is still no skinning on it.

Skype just doesn't want to work, only when I reinstall it works until I close - reopen it again.

And MPClassic still whatever I try it's stuck with default classic.

I don't intend to reinstall windows since I have tons of applications and it's a drag to set everything back to working enviroment....

How about you exclude the app you want?

Select an aero (UIS0)skin.

If I exclude those apps I get shitty classic windows skin which is terrible to see or use in 2013.

Also those aero's are wb's aero not win7aero so I still get classic skin even by choosing per app skin wb option.

Try *not* selecting the total exclusion option.

ah...nothing helps...i'm stuck with win classic skins.

i'll uninstall and clean registry and everything and retry again in couple of days...
