taskbar at top of desktop?

Could someone be nice enough to fill me in on how to put the tasksbar at the top of the desktop like the "Alien Mind" windowblinds preview? Also what is it for?

I think, that is a shortcut bar, she named 'Taskbar'.

is that an XP-related problem? on older yersions of windows you just drag the taskbar to the top edge.

not the standard start bar menu. The other one that says taskbars and has a long line of large icons. I have Xp and can't find it.

As i was told by APB "right click on the task bar,click on toolbars, click on new toolbar and away you go.

Cleans your desktop.

Don't know about XP, but in 98/2K you can drag the quickluanch section off of the main taskbar and either have it as a floating pallette, or dock it to another screen edge.
