Thing to look at in version 0.80

Hello, I thought of and saw a few things that might be nice to have changed.

First the cities!

A limiting factor would be nice and not just unrest a rather hard variable to notice with you get about 30 cities. Maybe a Faction wide unrest meter that would increase for each new city with the cities having ways to lower it again. This would help with war expansions as well as player expansions since having a really high unrest could completely stop the empire for a time. (Obviously some changes to how it would affect production however)

A second thing I would like to see is a better defense for cities. The army built to defend a city through level up and buildings can be really weak especially later game if your empire is behind on research and tech it can be hard to defend the city even with, or even simply a way to upgrade those city units as your empire becomes stronger.

A different issue I ran into I think it was a bug. I made allies with to others in the game. The trouble was that they were at war with one another when I did this. A message flashed on the screen saying I was no longer allay to either however the game continued to act as if I was. (could not fight either of them. This caused problems when I kill all the remaining heros and it was just the three of us left and only the other two could fight each other. It would be helpful to have either a break alliance option or a way to keep the player from allying with two waring factions.

Another thing I am not sure of after you conquer an enemy town or outpost and you have the road to cities and outposts already will it or should it build a road to the new city/outpost?

Another thing that would be nice to see would be a wait option or a way to cross over your other units in tactical combat. It is annoying when the first guy to go is trapped by your own men and cannot more.

All the complaining aside this game is awesome! The economic system is among the best I have seen. There has never been a time when I was so rich I could buy the entire world or so poor that it kept me from doing anything. The rates seem to hit perfectly to allow the player to go without stopping to wait for the gold to continue. Although it would be cool to have a trade shop. like a place to trade horse or warg for money rather then have thousands of them by the end of the game to do nothing with. Enemy's claimed no value on the materials when I tried to trade to them however had large value when I wanted some from them.

Any feedback or thoughts about these things would be awesome thank you for making this game!

the faction wide unrest based on the number of cities is already in the game (currently at 3% per city)

Yes, however that simply raises each cities level of unrest and some cities do not actually get affected by this. (My capital and another city I had gotten in war.)  It currently is more annoying then limiting since your earlier cities will not be affected where as your newer cities will. I would also have to say that the faction wide unrest limit did not seem to be working as I had about 40 cities by then end of my match and the newer cities I was getting were no longer at 100%. I had 1 onyx throne + 4 prisons - 60% so the math should be 40*3 = 120% unrest -60% from the faction wide reductions means 60% total if that is how the math works?  I am also unsure of how much unrest is gained when you first conquer a city but I do know it is a rather high amount more than 40% judging by how much I would have to buy in new towns to get them to start building without a commander hero in the town.

hmm there's a quest that removes the occupation penalty (don't know if that quest exists in LH - i remember i had it a few times in FE) any chance you had that quest in that game?

the unrest per city was increased from 2 to 3% with patch 0.80. if you started the game before the patch, the effect in that game would be a lot smaller (80% instead of 120% at 40 cities). the details screen of the cities should actually list all the effects that cause or reduce unrest.
