Hmmm...you think it will pass? I once was told 2MB was a pain to download and it wasnt worth it anyway after applying it...And until now I never have found out how I could make a BMP 1280 x 1024 with 144 dpi, allocated size 3,8 MB smaller in size...I understand you can save some by adjusting your colourpalette, but I only can do that with JPG Zipped it will be 2.5 MB or so...dunno exactly, but still a large file....

Shrink it to 1024x768. That would cut down on the size. Besides most people usethat size. Some use bigger. Yes if you went to 256 color you would save again. On a 56k modem any thing over a meg is a bitch. It still looks good. I was telling someone a couple months back that if you get a comment on a piece of work by Lecrayon and it's good you'd better believe it. He done went thru it with a fine tooth comb.

Ohno, not 256 color...I did that and it looked like a clear sky at night! A wish was done and it turned back into true color You mean a good comment WiseOldMan, or positive criticism ? I try always to be objective in my comments. Many people however tend to feel attacked while it is just an attempt to get them to a (in my opinion) better level. There are a few members here of which I really really like their work!

Actually it was both. I know what you mean about 256. A lot of people use it in skins.

Well, on your request I am uploading the wallpaper to WC...Changed the format to 1024x768...It looks a bit less sharp now, probably because I use a 1280x1024 screen.

uhohhh...yep..you know, I was taught that you should give the same attention to all of the canvas, whether it is the background, or the form. The love and preciousness for each stroke you do should have the same passion When you are satisfied with 99% and don't want to change the last bit, it is still not finished. And Changing the last 1% can mean you have to change 40% again...It is a struggle, but eventually you will be much happier if you get it 100%. The canvas will tell you what need to be worked on

Take it a a compliment. Thats the way it was meant. But remember that this is not canvas art. Its art, but not on that level. So be a little easy. I know that will be hard for you, but maybe you could try. Remember that if you talk to someone at their level and not above, you will get more out of them. I assume the wall is up! I guess we will have to wait for moderation. Aslo most of the artists here do not have the training you have. Be gentile.

Thanks again WiseOldMan. I know, I will try, and I might have been too harsh sometimes, for that I am sorry. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I have done some hard thinking lately about the wallpapers that get passed moderation here and am starting to understand what is wanted and what is not Why things pass, and why not.

I think I need this Skinbrowser. It is like you guys are IM'ing each other over here. That remids me, I need to change my DEsktop image also. I haven't done that in 3 weeks. I have noticed others have not used this feature... looks like I am going to have to start another thread asking people to use it again.
