Phase stabilizer questions

Everyone here knows that the kostura cannon creates a phase stabilizer when it hits a world, right? Does anyone know if when the phase stabilizer effect stops, you loose the ships that are traveling to it? Say you had a phase stabilizer at planet a, with a fleet ready. A big fleet. A huge fleet, lets say. You then fire a kostura cannon at planet B. you forget about said planet being shot for a while and go micromanage. Then, you remember the planet was shot with the kostura, and you tell your fleet to jump to the planet you shot, right before the phase stabilizer effect wears off. If the fleet doesn't make it before the effect runs out, will they just disappear, because there isn't a phase stabilizer where they are going?

No, they'll complete the phase jump to their destination.

Could be a cool feature if they did dissapear. One could go to a Vasari world, wait until a fleet was in phase space, then destroy the psn.

You do need to watch for ships that didn't make the jump before the effect stops. They will continue their journey the long way across the system if not stopped (or killed).

Imho they should drop out of phase space and be forced to fly to the next gravity well @ sublight. :P

I think of phase stabilizers as being jump point targets, once you have your target picked and fire it doesn't matter what happens to the target because you're already going.
