New Ship Packs\Models for Sins-do they exist?

Are there any simple replacers for SINS ship models? Im not talking about TC's, or mods as such, but just plain old simple models. You know, just something that makes your capships and frigates look like SW, ST. Babylon 5 or w/e floats a modders boat, but otherwise leaves the vanilla game alone.  Yes, I can see there are mods that seem to feature new models, but they always  come with some kind of extensive mod attached. I dont necessarily need that, but some ship model replacers either based on popular fiction, or even original work is just fine too, if they could  be found....

I cant seem to find anything like this. Why is that? Is SINS itself hard to make new models for? Or is there just not much call for it? What is the story with this?

And that Wincustomize place...ugh. Its terrible.

There aren't any mods I know of that replace just TEC, Advent and Vasari with different models.

There are mods that leave those races intact but add new factions like star wars, battlestar, or original races. These aren't considered Total Conversions- more an expansion mod to the vanilla game.

Maelstrom

Sins of the Fallen

Fall of Kobol

Star Wars Requiem

Zombie's List of Mods good enough to EAT!!!

People spend many, many hours on a single model and usually want to add their own custom meshpoints for custom weapons and abilities. Taking a capital ship model from a conversion mod usually will not work well as a replacement for a stock model. Doing all the work to make a custom model compatible with a stock model is just not worth it for the creators.

If you want to try your hand at it  O:)

The mods Zombie listed try to keep their new races balanced towards the original races, so that they can still be worthy opponents, but I can't say I know of a lot of people who want their Star Destroyers to play exactly like a Kol battleship. In fact I think you would be the first one I can remember saying they want their mods to add less unique gameplay.
