DeskScapes 8.09 beta

  • Adds support for the Windows 8.1 Preview
  • Additional bundled wallpapers including a selection licensed from Vladstudio (http://www.vladstudio.com)


WindowBlinds 8.01

  • Adds support for the Windows 8.1 Preview (including tweaks to the jump list painting) 
  • Fixed say the time titlebar
  • Fixed opera 15 black bit on opening
  • Fixed display fusion issue with blank taskbar
  • Fixed issue with not being able to move explorer windows on negative screen coordinate monitors on win 8
  • Fixed issue with some skins showing a small white bar under a transparent taskbar when maximized
  • Fixed no text on non perpixel skins
  • Fixed no text on MDI child windows
  • Fixed the reset button correctly show on UIS0 skins too on Win7 for titlebars
  • Tweak to start menu code for alterative start menus

Will it be possible to skin the start button in the future, or is that not going to be possible in Win8.1 without Start8?

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you even get a start menu on Windows 8.1 without Start8.

Also, I've noticed that skins designed for XP have a pretty nasty thing going on with the back/forward buttons in Explorer.
