Current question based on a looong time ago.

Hello,

I just reinstalled this game after years of forgetting I had it in a pile of junk.

Played a few games and got a little tired of the lack of logistics and fleet size, still a great game though. I remember a looong time ago there was a mod that gave TONS of extra capacity for HUGE battles and planets full of research stations, railguns, whatever. It was beyond fun.

So here is my question:

Is there a current mod that can simply give you a much larger logistics/fleet/etc capacity, like 5x, 10x the norm?

Nothing fancy, just an increase.

If not thanks anyways.

By reinstalled, you mean the version of the game you had years ago? That would depend on the version, but you'll likely need to raid google as most people here are now on the Rebellion stand alone expansion.

 

If you meant you just got Rebellion, I don't know about planet logistics but yes there are mods to increase fleet sizes, either stand alone or often as optional features to biggger mods. The dev.exe also has an "ignore slot restrictions" option that basically lets you build as many ships and structures as you want. AI tends to go crazy with it though, I'd use it only on medium maps or smaller.
