First let me say thanks to everyone who participated and helped others in the forums with testing.  I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of entries submitted, and the conversations it generated in the forums with people offering to help others.  I was also happy to see some skinners break from their regular skins to try something news, so overall I think this mini-contest was a big success.  It was really tough to choose winners as all the entries were of top-notch quality, but we choose the winners based on the design and creativity of the entries.

Yes, I too am excited by the number of entries and the interest generated. I'd say the contest was a big success indeed! A big boost to the Start8 library!

Ok, Spencer, How do I let you know who I want to give my prize to?  :thumbsup:

I know someone who needs a WC sub, but he doesn't have Windows8, so he doesn't need Start8.  Any way I can split the prize between 2 people?  O:)

How you picked is beyond me, must have been tough. I think GMC had 200 good submissions just by himself,lol. Good stuff all around and some nice selection for viewers now. 5* 5*

I think I only entered 3 or 4 sets into the contest, for the most part, just stirring the pot. And, you upload quite a few yourself.

Thank you... I was online this morning and wanted to write some words- sadly I only had very little time because I had to get to the university... this is a very cool 30th birthday gift for me - Yes i turned 30 today :D
Im Happy about the first place of course but  would like to congratulate everyone else who participated in this mini competition.
I now have enough buttons for all my fav. skins hehe..

It is hard to work on such small space and i was surprised by the buttons and the level of creativity in some of them ID already named some of them:

I loved "Parisienne8 by BoXXi - Sountox by c242 and Triffid by Stramp"

GMC- uploaded some great great minimal buttons : to name a view you should definitely check out is "Glass Button Set6",Tempered,Chachet8...

Best idea RND - to be honest my first button was a lock... but not a ignition-lock -very cool!

Now excuse me i have to get back and maw the lawn before my guests arrive and we start the BBQ ^_~
