Rebellion on Steam Only?

Hi guys. I have the first three releases of SINS; Original, Entrenchment and Diplomacy. These were all on the old distro system (I cant remember what it was called before Gamestop bought it). I had all my games swapped over to Origin. My question is, is Rebellion a Steam only release and if so do I need the other games to play it?

Rebellion uses Steamworks, so while it can be purchased elsewhere it will always require Steam.

You do not need the original game, though if you have it registered with us and purchase Rebllion through us, you should be eligible for a discount.

Yes, it's available on Steam and uses its functionality for things like achievements.

Nope, Rebellion is a self contained title, unlike the Entrenchment & Diplomacy expansions.
