Program-crashing glitch - Task Manager + Reserved edge of screen!

How to reproduce the glitch:

Reserve edge of screen on left or right side of computer for your dock, open task manager (doesn't matter how you open, or if you open it through 32-bit or 64-bit). Object dock will FREEZE until you wait at least 30s, restart your computer, or restart objectdock.

I really hope this glitch is fixed, it seems kind of a silly one to keep around for years (here is another thread from 2010! https://forums.stardock.com/399129)

If it has been fixed, or there is a workaround while maintaining reserved edge of screen, please let me know.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit, no viruses or malware, this is not a bootlegged copy of Windows, and reinstalling Windows would have no effect (I have reproduced this glitch on two different W7 computers).
