System Freeze after 15-30mins of gameplay

Hello, i just purchased rebellion today via steam and the game freezes my system after 15-30mins of gameplay and have to manually reset computer.

Forum has many people with similar problems but no solutions. I don’t have any problems playing Sins Trinity only Rebellion. No dump file is generated as system freezes. Drivers are latest version, nothing is overclocked.

Please help....

WinXP SP3...

Try upgrading to Windows 7 and tell me if the problem persists.

Really, its not 2004 anymore pal.

The game minimum now is Windows Vista on up due to DirectX10 or 11 requirements. WinXP only goes up to DirectX9.

i do not recall asking for advice on operating systems, if you do not have info to help please keep your opinion to yourself. and if you would care to look in forums, people are having these same problems running Win7 and 8. but i guess annoying others is your preference.

Well sadly the Operaring System (WinXP SP3) may be the issue. Hence the advice.

It does seem rather odd that you are able to run the game for some time though, before it crashes. Wouldn't really know what could help you fix the problem other than upgrading the OS, given the fact that all your drivers are up to date. Also, I was just trying to point you in the right direction. I know I sometimes seem like a bit of a douche, but that's just because you don't know me... yet.

EDIT: Also, when Ryat says I'm probably right, you'd better listen!!!

Hmm, we don't officially support Windows XP with Sins: Rebellion. We generally haven't heard of any issues, but that could be why.
