When running a mod and the game crashes, how do you tell what file caused the crash?

I have gotten 2 types of issues:

1. At the loading screen, the game sometimes crashes on me

2. Mini-dumps in game

How do you tell when it's your mod and within your mod, what file is causing the problem?

Use the dev.exe.
