Sins of a galactic empire, game not starting!

Hi, I have recently downloaded sins of a galactic empire mod for rebellion, however i put the mods in the mod folder, then load the game, however on the loading screen it minidumps, i haven't even activated the mod!

Take the folders out and try again, works perfectly, iv got other mods and they work fine, so whats up, and how do i fix?

Did you read the ReadMe and documentation folder...?

yep, i copy and pasted the stuff from the readme into the enabled mods thing, but still minidumps, tried cutting it down to only 3 races, etc. No luck >:(

No, what order are you activating the mods in? It's just alphabetically in the directory. :p

 

Try just enabling the Core mod. That one must always be enabled and must be at the bottom of your mod order.

 

Also, in the future please post these mod issues in the mod thread, don't make new topics for it.

mindumps when i try to open game, cant enable any mods, i dont get any menu, no options menu, etc, just freezes before intro cut scene :annoyed:

SoGE has no intro cut scene. You have to wait for it to finish loading.

ok, but I still get the minidump warning, so i could wait forever and thats not gunna go away(I think), unless i exit sins. So i cant start sins  :'(

At the moment have saved mod elsewhere, and deleted it out of sins, so i can play ^_^ , without SoGE >:(

Haha, fixed, re downloaded and noticed a broken file, re downloaded with chrome, no broken file, now works fine :D

Disable random events, they crash the mod. Failing that, wait for the new version; beta is already 1.8 compatible.

my internets fault, a file broke while downloading, re downloaded with chrome instead of explorer, works fine now
