can't start rebellion

i get this message when i try to start my game... i have not change anything on my system. just some time past away since my last playing ^^

where is this "file c" it mention which i should delete for a re-activating purpose?

i tried the repair option from steam and also tried to reinstall it... nothing changed

This can happen if you've reinstalled windows after you originally installed the game. The file you need to delete the rebellion.bin file in C:\ProgramData\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\License.

the message was a big mislead. i searched within the game directory inside the steam directory...

that the game placed the license somewhere else on my pc... - -_- :annoyed:
